L’École du Chat Noir (The school of the Black Cat) is a video series that I wrote, composed, directed and self-produced, togather with the thespians Nicole Mersey Ortega and Jonathan Perrony and the musicians Mélodie Carecchio and Sylvain Kaalau. The whole series is in stop-motion animation.

The experience of the quest of freedom is fundamental for me. I was raised in the Jehovah’s Witnesses, a Christian sect, which I later fled. When you overcome an oppression and you question authority, you might ask yourself: why stop now? We all have different backgrounds. Mine is surely paved by religion and then atheism. Then by my readings, my meetings and my trade unionist activities, I discovered anarchism. That’s exactly what I want to share in this video series.

I’m currently working on episode 3.
