An artwork at theLittle Museum of Dublin
If you walk past 15 St Stephen’s Green, you will find the Little Museum of Dublin. Inside, in the Georgian architecture section, one of my Paper Dublin artworks is now on display.
I particularly appreciate the atmosphere of the museum, a condensed and theatrical immersion into Dublin’s history, with a touch of humour. I’m very happy that my work is presented there.
If you are visiting Ireland, you may come across it.
The paper version of the museum
I created a reinterpretation of the museum building in paper, developed as a limited series of 10 pieces, available at the museum shop.
In this piece, I explore the tension between appearances and what lies behind them. Dublin’s Georgian façades project a sense of order and elegance, perfectly aligned.
Yet behind these immaculate surfaces, other realities remain in the shadows. The internal lighting of the sculpture reveals this hidden depth, inviting the viewer to look beyond the façade.
