In 2018, I created the animated series L'École du chat noir (“The School of the Black Cat”), featuring a black cat in a red-collared shirt, wandering through a school perched high in the trees. In 2024, I wanted to pay tribute to that world by crafting this paper artwork based on one of its most symbolic locations: the Study. A treehouse library filled with books and secrets, it captures the quiet joy of reading and learning. Each of the 7 editions is handmade in paper — and while they share the same structure, each one differs subtly from the others, particularly in the central landscape painting.Care instructions
